Serves 3 – 4 pax
1/2 thumb size ginger – minced
3 cloves of chopped garlic
10 pcs of dried chilli – deseeded & rehydrated
1/2 a red onion – sliced in wedges
1.5 cups of water
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 tablespoon of light soya sauce
1 tablespoon of premium dark soya sauce
1 piece of firm tofu (tao kwa) – airfried or baked at 180C for 15mins
0.5 teaspoon of sugar
1 stalk of spring onion
Half a bell pepper
1.5 teaspoons of black vinegar
Some cornstarch solution
1/4 cup of roasted peanuts
1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking wine
0.5 tablespoon of sesame oil
